Indeed, For some bulbs barely come up before you will see a spike :nod: Mine has had multiple spikes from the same bulbs, same sides. This orchid is fun. I would highly recommend this one for any beginner, but then again I think everyone should have a wildcat :D

What a gorgeous specimen, I love the dark velvety red.

That's right everyone should have a wildcat, they are so easy to grow. My Wildcat 'Yellow Cat' has a large spike coming and does it ever use alot of water when it's working on it.

it is amazing how they've mixed together all these different plants to create this intergeneric and from what people have said in this thread the breeding doesn't seem to have just been focused on in terms of the blooms but also in making a very easy, vigourous plant to grow.
