Smile Orchids with most surreal flowers

Hi there,

I'm new to this Forum and I'd like to ask a question right away to all of you:

I'm totally obsessed with strange and surreal orchids. I got my first orchid 3 months ago and now I've already got 15 orchids.
Which ones are most magical to you? You know, these fairytale blooming ones... I need ideas for my next wishlist...

I'd like to start with

-Psychopsis papilio
-Stanhopea insignis
-Beallara Peggy Ruth Carpenter

Thank you for your replies,

Jungle Jane

Strange and surreal orchids.. Have you had a look at some jewel orchids like Anoectochilis? Some personal stranger flowers for me are Maxillaria schunkeana because it appears to be black and Osmoglossum pulchellum.
Nice collection you've gathered over 3 months!
And welcome to the board

Oh, and I just thought of Gongora aswell

Welcome to O B,Jane.Brassia verracosa is quite surreal, large spider blooms in shades of green, and fairly easy to find and to grow. Bulbophyllum species are also strangely beautiful with the added bonus of some really surreal aromas.Have fun with it,Brad
