I agree with Doc G. Mostly there are winter and spring to summer blooming species. I take most of my phals down to the 50's in temp. Some species are even more finicky than others about reblooming on a cut back spike. For me these seem to be the warmer growing types. Warm types don't seem to need the cooler temps. I mentioned above to produce a spike. Once phals get to a certain size cut back spikes may be forming or in bloom most of the time. If you use the 50's temps make sure they are a little on the dryside. Phals don't like cold wet roots.
