Default Ctma

I just acquired a Ctma Why Not 'Super Nova' AM/AOS. Can someone please tell me what makes up a Ctma? I'm having trouble getting info for it.
Thanks
Helen

I think you mean Ctna Why Not 'Super Nova' AM/AOS, NOT Ctma Why Not 'Super Nova' AM/AOS.

Ctna = Cattleytonia = Cattleya x Broughtonia

That explains a lot of things. I'll have to change the ID label. Thanks for your help.

Helen, grow it bright & intermediate/warm just like a Catt. Mine is pretty free flowering and gave me 2 spikes this summer.

Thanks Terri, I was wondering about culture. It has a spike right now so I'm looking forward to seeing it soon. I'll post when it's in full bloom

I need more help on my Ctna Why Not 'Super Nova'.

Can someone please tell me what the parents are? I can't find the parents of this orchid anywhere.
I only see Ctna Why Not Radiance x Ctna Why Not Comet on the internet.
I've tried searching in the RHS, but with no luck.
Thanks!
Helen

I only know a partial heritage of Cattleytonia Why Not, myself.

Here's what I know...

There's a Broughtonia sanguinea in there.
