For clumps of pseudobulbs with no leaves, the concern about desiccation is greatly reduced, so wouldn't even bother with sphag-n-bag.

I would simply set the clump on top of a semi-hydro pot, keep it moist, warm, and shady, and wait. Unless the pseudobulbs are really too far gone, a new growth is likely to form in relatively short order.

Ray,

Thanks for the advice on the clumps of pseudobulbs. What about a clump of dendrobium canes with no leaves and no root. Same method?
