What should I do
Default What should I do

I use to have to mini orchids. One died few weeks ago.
It all start in the roots from green they begun to change to brown and dry out, and the leaves just come off with a gentle push, the center was soft and mush. the second one is going in the same way. what should I do to save it?
Thanks

My guess is that you might be looking at a combination of root rot due to suffocation, and/or crown rot from water standing in the top of the plant or in the leaf axils (bases).

If you can tell us what type of orchids they are, and more about your culture, the advice will be better, rather than the "shot in the dark" I took.

I would take the same 'shot in the dark' as Ray. It sounds like root/crown rot.

Can you post some pics that would help a lot?
