Pollination question

I have sophr. mantiqueira var. xanthocheila flower and I'm tempted to pollinate it. The question is do I need two flowers to succeed? Do I have chances with one flower (I mean if I take pollen and put it in the stigma of the same flower)?

You can self it on the same flower with the same success rate as different flowers.
