Default Should I re-pot?

I just got two new oncidiums from Oak hill-- They are both in great shape and look fabulous already!
I got one Sharry baby and one ampliatum majus. The sharry baby has a spike but no flowers yet. The Ampliatum is smaller and has no spike.

I want to re-pot them in clear plastic pots (they are in dark ones right now) in order to see their roots better. but I wasn't sure if I should quite yet because A) I just got them in the mail 2 days ago so i'm sure they are stressed from the trip and B) the sharry baby has the spike.

Any suggestions?

--oh and also..if you have any tips or tricks for Oncidiums and in particular these two kinds, i'd love to hear. I've just had Phal's till now so im not sure if I should do something different with these.

Thanks!!!
