People here sometimes clean up (and shine) orchid leaves for shows with a solution of 1:1 milk and water. Milk is very slightly acidic, may also chelate the calcium deposits. (Water where I live is pretty hard so white spots anf white film are common) If you use that approach, you could apply the milk-water solution with a cotton swab or cloth, then wipe it off. Purely aesthetic... the white hard-water deposit on the leaves won't harm anything. It were my plant, I would not bother.
