With regard to King rock Orchids do I fertilise in Winter or let it rest. I want flowers in Spring. I live in Australia

Some dendrobium like the soft can variety I read it needs to rest but with the king orchid or rock orchid some say rest and some say till feed them during winter. I am confused!
Please advise me. Thanks in advance

On the assumption that a "king rock" orchid is Dendrobium kingianum, they require cool, bright winters with no feeding.

If it is a Den. kingianum, it can flower on quite a small plant. If it is Den. speciosum ("rock lily') it can take some years, needs to be big to bloom and slow growing. So depends on which it is. A photo would help.
