Default Vand seedling: Old or new leaf injury?

I’ve been out of orchid growing for what I thought was about 7-8 years until I signed-in and saw my last sign in as being back in 2010. Anyway, I lost all of my orchids several years ago during a divorce (my ex-wife trashed them). I’ve just now started getting back into the hobby and started with a Vanda coerulea supra seedling and a Laelia purpurata.
When they arrived I noticed this leaf on the seedling as injured, but I can’t tell if it happened during shipping or if it’s an older injury. If it did happen during shipping should I just put some cinnamon on it. It looks healthy. I included pics of both.

Welcome back!

The torn leaf has already scarred over. I wouldn't do anything at all.

Thanks. That’s what I was thinking, but I wanted to make sure. I’m wanting to replace my lost orchids so I’m thinking of ordering a few more. I didn’t realize how much I’ve missed orchids.

Welcome back!

Read through the various posts to see what, and from whom, people are enthusiastically ordering. Where are you located? Especially take a look at what others whose conditions match yours are buying. And the Vendor Feedback sub-forum. So many orchids to choose from...

Thank you! It’s good to be back. It’s all starting to come back with a little reading (by little I mean quite a bit &#128514. I have checked out the vendor section. I have used orchidweb in the past and although their prices are a little steep I find the service, plant quality, and shipping to be fantastic. I’m sure as my collection grows I plan to branch out to other vendors when looking for certain orchids.

Sorry, guess I didn’t answer your question, but I updated my profile which includes my location.

I live in NW Arkansas. I have a south facing room that I’ve set up with grow trays, humidifier, and sensorpush. I have a grow light I can dig out, but I’m not finding it necessary as of yet. I try to keep that room between 65-85 degrees with humidity ~60%.
