I found an empty spot with conditions great for phalaenopsis. Southern light but under an overhang, gets only early morning direct light followed by indirect light all day. I water every 8-10 days.
Going to find a new orchid and looking for suggestions. Thanks in advance -Melanie

Do you have any Phal species in your collection? I reccomend Phal. Schilleriana to your collection. It'll make a great hallmark piece a mong your Phals.
Personally, my favorite at the moment is Lemboglossum Cervantesii

howdy! we are sorta on a white-ish flower kick lately, and thus are happy with phals. heiroglyphica, stuartiana, tetraspis green...

but agreed that a schilleriana is a great addition to a collection due to its cool foliage.

have fun shopping!! and on second thought, if you get a smaller phal you might be able to squeeze 2 into that spot

Phal. Taida Smile ‘Little Gold’ has been a recent favorite of mine. The color is a very lovely, pale, light green/yellow/“gold”. Mine has been very floriferous this year, and it’s in front of a south facing window with sheer curtains.

Thank you all again for your input. I had a wonderful day at Little Brook Orchids and Trey was as helpful as ever. My EA Buckleberry has started to travel so I got a wooden box so she can hang and go wild.
I took your advice and got a hanging Phal. Schilleriana and it opens up space for another orchid.
Now I have room for another, so I asked Trey for a recommendation, and I am a proud owner of a Dendrobium Somkiat Blue. Thank you all for your input and knowledge. Enjoy the day -Melanie
