How to care for Microcoelia cornuta? Female
Default

Problem with Microcoelia stolzii in south FL may also be that it is too warm. I grow it outside on my patio (quite shady) and it blooms nicely every year. It comes from fairly high elevations. More shade might help.

How to care for Microcoelia cornuta?
Default Update 23.06.2023

I just wated to give an Update that the orchid seems to be doing well. I have stopped moving it and it is placed in a bright spot, on some rocks were i spray it once or twice a day with our tap water. It has continued growing, and now started growing 2 new roots as well as produced a growing tip, were i expect it will start creeping along the rocks soon. It seems to really enjoy drying out quickly between waterings in my opinion.

I was planning on including pictures, but this site has almost driven me into a white-hot-rage trying to conform them and failing. So after typing a version of this post for the third time now i officially give up.

Sorry but you guys will have to make do with my gratitude for all the help and tips you provided. Thank you.

All the Best,
Wolfram
