Default Observation and Change

I tend (with my smaller collection (as of today up to 27 orchid pots)), to look over hte plants when I water them, which is usually at least once a week (or more like 3 times every 2 weeks).
Today I gave some their first overview in 3 weeks (because of an eye infection in which I literally couldn't make out details), and was quite happy to notice several new PBs emerging on various plants and almost everything showing new roots.

When you haven't been able to see them for a while, you can notice changes *lol*, imagine that!

I photographed my first crocus of 2023 day before yesterday and the first daffodils will be open soon...so it kinda feels like spring, though I know winter could roar back in.

Happy orchiding everyone!

Wonderful. Not as long, but I was gone for 9 days over the holidays and was shocked at how much mine had grown when I returned. Finding the love of any growth is that perfect place as an orchid grower!

Agreed! Seeing new growth emerging, and new pseudobulbs fattening is so satisfying to me that flowers almost feel secondary.
