It's in the Iris family. I'm not completely familiar with them but it's probably an American species like Gelasine or Herbertia. Look them up in the Genera section of the Pacific Bulb Society Wiki.

I looked them up. Iris unguiculata (Algerian Iris) has standards - 3 upright petals in the center. The photo shows a Herbertia.
