You could grow Eulophia petersii really well. In very bright light it develops very short, extremely thick and stiff, very sharply pointed leaves. The pseudobulbs are upright, grayish green, thick and fluted, looking as though they are carved from jade. When it gets over 36C here I need to give it shade in the hottest part of the day, but the more light it gets the more it gets hard like a rock.

I refuse to believe that this os an orchid. it looks so much like a cactus/succulent!!!!

The Asian paphs mostly have very beautiful leaves. Very leathery, with green mottling on the top, and often purpleish color on the underside.
