Odd bump on phalaeonopsis leaf
Default Odd bump on phalaeonopsis leaf

Any thoughts on what this odd bump on the underside of a phalaenopsis leaf might be. Feels firm to the touch, and the top of the leaf has just a slight depression at that spot.

My thinking is that it's a reaction to something physical, like a bite.
Which is quite possible, but the kittens swear they didn't do it...

I think it just developed that way. I wouldn't worry unless the plant goes downhill.

Thanks; the plant otherwise looks healthy, so not really worried.
