First, Welcome!
A photo would really help. While some have said that you need to have 5 posts to upload a photo, I have seen others who managed to it right out of the gate. So give it a try. (from the Quick Reply" dialog box click "go advanced", then scroll down a bit to "manage attachments". You'll get a pop-up that lets you select the photo from your PC, then click Upload.
If that doesn't work a you can also put the photo on a service like Google Drive, and get a link which you can then insert in your reply.
