Simultaneous leaf yellowing

The oldest leaves on two orchids in my terrarium—Dendrochilum gracile and Masdevallia sernae—have gone completely yellow at more or less the same time. Other than the one yellow leaf, they are both in active growth and appear to be healthy.

The only changes have been a temperature drop over the last couple weeks and a more consistent fertilizing routine.

This is my first summer to fall transition as an orchid parent! Am I right to assume the seasonal change triggered this or could it be a sign that something is wrong?

I think you're right. But I'm still curious if the end-of-summer timing is a thing that seasoned orchid growers have noticed. (No pun intended!)
