Hi All,
I am looking for this orchid. I've scoured the internet and can't find any for sale. Is this orchd that hard to find or is this just the off season for this orchid?
Does anyone know of a good orchid nursery in Western/Eastern Michigan? There are no greenhousea in my area that sell anything other than phalaenopsis orchids. If anyone has this in their collection and is willing to sell or trade please let me know.
Or does anyone know where I could purchase this via mail?
Thanks

For Catasetinae in general, Sunset Valley Orchids is outstanding. They probably don't have this one, since it is an older hybrid. However, they very likely have children or grandchildren of that one (it has been used in hybridizing quite a bit). Email Fred Clarke (the owner) and he will have suggestions. (He's very responsive!)

I find that because these become large plants, they are usually available at the beginning of the season when they are leafless, easier and cheaper to ship.

As an aside - great choice, I love the colour and scent of mine.

Well, there are a few Clowesias that bloom while they're still dormant in February, but the main growing season is now. Take a look at the SVO website... Fred just posted a bunch of brand-new hybrids (and a few species) . I just put in an order. So those will arrive fully leafed. There also is plenty of shipping when things go dormant.

If you'll PM me your email address, I can forward the email that he just sent out. (Like today)
