As you can see, the plant is leaning quite a bit to one side. The plastic pot with the spaghnum is pretty light, plus when I repotted I didn't really know what to do with the stake, so it didn't get secured very tightly. Should I cut the spikes off? Also, what what will I do if it blooms again eventually? I don't really know how to make a stake secure.

The leaf has grown quite a bit though.

I like to leave the old spikes as long as they stay green - they could branch and produce more flowers. Don't worry about the stakes, they were used to guide the spikes. As far as the plant leaning to one side, that is the normal growth pattern asserting itself - then you don't have to worry about water standing in the crown. Nature is clever... The plant is fine. With fresh moss (or bark) it needs to be watered more that it did in the old stuff, so just keep an eye on it - don't let it get totally dry.
