Afid, it truly is. We're going to have to create a new forum category for "people who bought podangis dactyloceras from Jim Marlow on 6/3"....and Roberta, of course.

B. Stars, this was once your thread. Do you or anyone else have more to say about Cyrtorchis? I checked Ecuagenera's website and saw that they have one, but I think it's one of the ones in your original list (cyrtorchis arcuata). They also show something called cyrtochilum angustatum in the same category. Unfortunately I have no experience with these to help you. I'm thankful for the introduction to a new type of orchid!

Good thing you all bought them out, I just got my Hausermann's order today, I probably shouldn't be adding MORE already. 😂

Should I get one? Is there a particularly good or noteworthy species I should look into? I really like nice fragrances.

So far, I see three for sale:Cyrtorchis arcuate, Cyrtorchis praetermissa, and Cyrtorchis chailluana. Is one of these particularly interesting or fragrant?
I've now seen reference to fragrance on all three of these. The praetermissa says sort of like lily of the valley fragrance. The other two "night fragrance"

I finally revisited this thread after being able to properly read it on a computer. I realized that y'all were talking about a completely different plant from the OP's .

I'm in the club now too, had to take advantage of free shipping for $75 too. Grabbed a Pholidota imbricata and a Bulbophyllum rothschildianum as "add ons". 😇
