Precocious C. White Reception?
Watering my orchids today and I see something that in my limited experience isn't possible. I have a Better-gro 2" C. White Reception 'NN' in semi-hydro since the middle of July. It's just starting to put out a good root system and also two new growths (opposite ends of the rhizome, of course). Both of the new growths very short haven't fully opened their leaves but one has what looks like a sheath.
I am guessing that its a blind sheath since its such a young plant but is it even possible? Or do to this hybrid's parentage it just throw out a second leaf time and again?
