Can I recover these flowers? Female
Unhappy Can I recover these flowers?

I bought this orchid yesterday at a local market. I left it in the car for 20 minutes while I got some lunch and came back to this 😫 will they come back with some hydration or have I lost them for good?

Im not too experienced with phals, so I cant tell you much about the drooping flowers, but if the flowers do wilt and fall, take good care of it and it should bloom again for you with fresh flowers. I also see some buds.

Knowing how orchids are, once this has happened, the blooms will not recover no matter what genus of orchid it is.

You will have to wait till next bloom cycle. Sorry to break the bad news.

Those flowers will not recover, but there is a chance that those remaining buds will survive the ordeal and give you some flowers. But if you want a full spike of blooms, you're going to have to wait for a new spike next year.

As you've learned the hard way, leaving a plant in the car can have pretty severe consequences. Over the years there have been plenty of stories here of plants left in a cold or hot car for what the person thought was a short time, only to discover that the plant has cold/heat damage.
