I feel like this is probably a silly question, but I thought I'd check in with the experts.

We have a cold snap visiting for two days. It dropped to the low 50s overnight (and will again tonight). Because it also rained, and the orchids were all wet and because there was supposed to be a strongish northern breeze, I brought them ALL inside just to be safe.

Will they be ok inside for 2 1/2 days without the proper lighting? I can mist them each morning if necessary, but the room where they are camping out just cannot provide enough light.

Lazy me thinks I'd rather not shlep them back outside in only to bring them back in tonight.

A lot of us here are indoor growers. What you are describing is what happens to us on a cloudy day and the plants grow and bloom anyway. Don't be overly concerned.

They'll be fine. If they couldn't go a few days/weeks without light, it'd be pretty tough to ship them across the country/world.

But it would be better if you don't let them stay cold and wet.
