Default Trade list May 10, 2007

Greetings,

Here are orchids I have to trade.

Oncidium Gower Ramsey (2) large plants
Oncidium sphacelatum (1) large plant
Laelia gouldiana (2) large plants
Encyclia alata (1) - doesn't look very good, but it's healthy
BL Yellow Bird (1) small plant
Laelia anceps (1) large plant
Mtdm. Pupukea Sunset (1) large plant
Epi Yoko Yokohama (1) in bloom with pink flowers
Phaius with varigated leaves (2) large plants

These are all healthy divisions of the plants I've grown in an unheated solarium in Central California so they're all intermediate to cool growers. I ship them bare root, but since priority mail is so fast they're fine. I've just traded with 2 people within the last month and it was a great way to get something new for the collection.

Let me know if you're interested and what you have to trade.

Is the BL Yellow Bird fragrant? What size pot and how many and how tall are the psuedopods?
Thanks

Default BL Yellow Bird

Dorothy,

I have 2 of them. One is big - about a foot tall with a dozen pseudobulbs and a new growth. The other is small, about 7" tall with 3 pseudobulbs.

I don't know if it's frangrant. That's not important to me and I don't remember if I ever smelled it.

Default a message for Dorothy

Dorothy,

I tried to send this to you in a private message, but it wouldn't go.

The BL Yellow Bird is a division of a big plant that has already bloomed this year. I divided it after it bloomed.

I was looking for something more unusual thatn BLC's and don't really need money enough to go to the hassle of mailing it, so maybe it isn't going to work this time.

Maybe some other time.
