Can I place an ISO?
Default Can I place an ISO?

Am I able to place an ISO here? Does anyone ever sell flasks with different types of the same orchids, say different types of phal in a flask? Or smaller sized flasks?
I’ve been itching to see if I can grow any orchids from a flask, and if I should one day try sending a seed pod or 2.
(also don’t necessarily want to wait over a year to try my hand at this!)

There is a Classifieds section accessible from Forums in the left yellow menu.

I have never seen mixed seedling flasks. Most people want to know the ancestry and name of each plant.

Oh that makes sense! I’m not necessarily worried about ancestry, I don’t mind surprises but I understand that might not be the norm.

I checked the classified section but didn’t see any flasks or anything. So i thought I might ask in case anyone had something laying around baby orchids are some of the cutest things!

that's great that you are thinking of growing some from flasks. i can tell you that it provides a nice gift of anticipation! and honestly, with hybrids you may get some that are very similar with minor differences, and you may get some really wierd things (some probly not the best flowers, tho).

so good luck! there are flasks to be had if you search and ask some questions

I do have some tiny seedlings I got from Etsy at one point. They’re so small I suspect they were taken from a flask not long before they were shipped. They seem to be doing fine though! No casualties so far 🤞

Don't be disappointed if "rapid turnaround" isn't what you think.

I committed to such as flask, and I am #80 in the wait list.

Wow!!! How long do you think that will actually be?? A year? 9 months?
Maybe I’ll keep looking for something already ready 😂

Ebay has a few sellers...many flasks or ready to be reflasked.
