Jo Ann,

I have to get on the stick and get a blog started. It's a nice way to get to know others. You mentioned loneliness since having moved to Florida. Missing friends, family, and mountains... yes, that has to be tough on you emotionally.
Hold onto the thoughts that you have nurseries open all year round, sights and smells and warmth you can't get this time of year in Colo.
I'm so uptight that I can't order any plants until spring. I get stressed when the temps go down to 7 below (last night) with a wind chill of about 20 to 30 below! You worry about heat and I worry about frostbite. Do you remember when you start getting ansy for warmer weather and think you can't take another day of snow, ice, and cold?
I'm there!
My orchids are now my survival/sanity kit.
However, I still love living in Maine. Perhaps a warmer Maine, but I do understand how you can miss the experience of the mountains and the true four seasons. Thanks for blogging! kiki
