Getting rid of terrarium pests, for good !

This was a great article on destroying millipedes.
I grow in the basement, under lights, and had(still have to a lesser extent) an infestation of millipedes. I think that they came in when I used (wood moss?)sheet moss to mount some of my dendrobiums as well as my many miniatures. I was hunting them daily with tweezers. Did you know that they have an interesting odor crushed? Anyway I will keep this in mind for the future.

I tried this and it killed every bug except the mites I was trying to get rid of. I have a pool party full of them in the water dish. I can't seem to get rid of them at all. I was trying to avoid a complete tear down. Anyone have any other options. My Red eyed tree frogs and tiger monkey frogs are thriving. So to totally disrupt it might be devastating! RC
