there is a harmless solution you can use on orchids to kill any pests. I got this off the orchid board- mix 1- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon extract with 10 drops of dish washing liquid soap and mix with 2 cups of water- (16 oz). That solution will kill most anything, and if that does not work, i add about a shotglass worth of rubbing alcohol to the mix and it will quickly kill almost anything that moves. Try that and see if it works. I do not know what kind of insects- can you explain them?
