Biting down the urge. . .10:52 pm

Lowes got new orchids in today. There were two that were just absolutely beautiful, healthy looking, and the color was just wonderful.
And I left them alone.
It took everything I had to keep from bringing them home, but I left them alone.

My problem is, I always take my wife with me... It means that everytime we go out to an orchid market or the wholesalers, her seat/ ride in the car is highly threatened when it comes to going home Theres never enough room for her when we go out and buy plants

i completely agree with you!!!! I think Ill ask my mom to buy me a few orchids instead of my weekly allowance because all I will do is waste it on something less beautiful and interestingI hope you get your work done so you can get your orchids. Best of luck to you

**chuckles** We've been back twice to 'sate' my urge temporarily. I wish I could bring them home right now, but at the moment there's no safe place to put them to ensure proper environment. So. . . I super amped up the work I'm doing on the bathroom so's it'll be finished sooner. I was working on it an hour a day. . .uh. . .now it's two or three hours.

The same, I have to make the living room into a living room again (bachelor pad and all. . .pft) before there's enough room to put an orchid case with lights.

The waiting is killing me, I tell ya!

Aint it the truth?! I so totally agree! There's nothing like surrounding yourself with beauty, and orchids take the cake in beautiful. . . they aren't your everyday run of the mill flower, nuh uh, nope.

I can't wait until it's done. The good thing is that it's not drudgery any longer. . .it's hard work, but wow. . .the result will be wonderful once I get my orchids in there!
