Default Help! I've been conned by my

Orchid society to give a presentation on miniature orchids! I don't have a clue where to start. It is going to be at our upcoming show in May. They have reserved a room for an hour. If you could please give me feedback? Pretend (or not) that you know nothing about miniature orchids and what you would need to know to grow them.
I've grow mini's for the last 7 years, but it's just been within the last year that even the people in the orchid society have even become interested in the mini's. So I've never really talked about them or had people interested in them.
Any feed back would be welcome, Thankyou in advance!
Karen B.

Do plenty of the usual orchid stuff, like lighting, watering, temps, etc. Profile a few of the more popular genera. And, since you're dealing with mini's, do a nice segment on terrarium culture, including some different ways you can set up terrariums for them (i.e. naturalistic vs. eggcrate shelving, or maybe those mini terrariums with the terracotta tubes). You can definitely make a presentation of decent length with minis, if anything because of the number of genera involved, and the addition of terrarium culture.
