Great article! I'm going to buy Listerine and 409 tomorrow!

Neem oil is wonderful too and you can get it in convenient wipes now.

Don't overlook spiders in the greenhouse and my new friends; small gecko lizards. Look out bugs.

Thanks for the ideas about Listerine and hydrogen peroxide. I'm a firm believer in avoiding nasty chemicals because of my 2 cats who are indoors, and the birds who visit the backyard outdoors.

Great job, Camille!

You know I can't live without my Listerine or my 409/alcohol mix in the sprayers!

When using cinnamon the liquid extract is more effective and easer to use than the powder.

Worm Tea. leachate from a worm bed not the castings, is a natural pesticide and effective against all insects. Totally harmless to humans and pets.

A pair of scissors is still the best home remedy against Phythium fungus (black rot). Cut off the infected area before it spreads into the pseudobulbs.

When using most liquid solutions a few drops of dish soap as a wetting agent allows the solution to spread more easily over the plant.
