Smile Awesome

Those pictures awesome! I am new to this site, I think I have an addiction to orchids and now my girls have the fever too.
I wish there was more places around where I live to get different kinds.
I am really enjoying all the pictures people are posting here.
I have a few orchids coming into bloom. One that I rescued from a place is called Brassavola Jimminey Cricket has a new spike = ) I found what the flower looks like here and became a memeber. Wow is so pretty. Can hardly wait! It was steal of a deal! Only $5!

Cheers
Barbara

Hi Barbara, I know you'll enjoy the OB, there are so many expert growers that can offer heaps of helpful advice. How many orchids do you have now? You don't say what area you're from but are you near any cities where there might be an orchid society or florists who might bring in orchid plants occasionally?

Hi Shirley
Thanks for the nice welcome!
I have 15 orchids, I did try to reply with all the different types but lost the page. So having to start over.
4 of them are in bloom and 4 that have bloom stalks. And 4 that have new spikes that look like might have flowers too.

I live in the Shuswap in British Columbia, Sicamous the House Boat Capital of Canada

I am about an hour from any major cites. There is some florist closer but not wanting to pay the prices they want.

Where you from and how many do you have?

Cheers Barbara

Great pictures Cam.
I looks like the Twinkle is in sphag, have you ever tried it in S/H? I just got an ornithorhynchum and I'm thinking of putting it in S/H but I've read it quite easily rots.
