I am still fairly intermediate to growing orchids but my question here is about LIVE sphagnum moss. Where can I find a few decent and maybe cheap places to get it? I would REALLY love help in finding either a supplier or dealer that has good quality sphagnum and I would like to have a few different species of it if possible too.

Hi! I found a seller on ebay a while back ago (about a year), but I can't remember his member name, have you tried searching ebay at all? If you can't find any, New World Orchids at New World Orchids has the best quality of sphag moss, and/or I would try Orchid Web at www.orchidweb.com or Orchid Supplies - Orchid Mix - Orchid Pots - Orchid Fertilizer - Repotme Orchid Supplies.

I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the place I got some from, but check out carnivorous plant dealers. It's a must for some of them.

Thanks but I found someone on another forum who had some in their back yard that they sent to me- which was VERY KIND. no luck with anyone online besides that, so if anyone needs it- good luck finding some. even the cp dealers dont have any, and the canadian seller on ebay charged 20$ for shipping- can you say RIP OFF??? it does not cost 20$ to ship from canada unless you ship with their version of overnight/airmail. just lettin everyone know what kinda crap they will encounter.
