Smile twin wall Polycarbonate ???

Sooo... my dad made me a greenhouse out of old windows and sliding doors. He kind of went a little overboard as he always does ,so now i have a 16'x 25' GH, but the problem is that it has a glass roof that isnt completely finished.
i live in Mississippi. It gets really bright and hot and humid here. So i was thinking about putting twin wall Polycarbonate on it instead but im not sure what kind. Anyone have any suggestions?

I think you would be better off adding some shade cloth than changing to poly. I wish I could have your dad build me one. Mine is tiny and I am planning to do just what he did with the reclaimed windows. There are some shade cloths that will repel heat and that is probably what you need.

you could get frosted poly to finish it off but some cloth indeed is soon to be needed and not an option unless you are under a lot of shade. and all the glass will need some coooling some fans and some humidity and some shelves and some lights. and a small loan to fix and improve what you started 5 years ago....rinse wash repeat have fun!!!

Lol. Yah. I've been putting up some shelves and just put up some shade cloth. ( well sort of it just sher material) but it was mostly for me because i burn easy hahaha. it already has some of that thick plastic over the glass on the roof since it isn't sealed yet. I do get a little shade in the evening but not much.
