hell i am new to this forum first of all, i am hoping this one gives me better info than some of the ones i have been to.
ok i recently purchased a mocodes petola, but it was kind of expensive. well......i promised my girlfriend that i would get her one, so my question is, is there any way for me to root a cutting or should i go back and get her one of her own?
Yes,the plant can be divided if there are more than one growth,or original lead gets leggy. In the latter case,I would suggest you "air-layer" the leggy stem ,and leave the rooted piece to grow another growth.
However these plants are usually not vigorous enough to just cut a piece and root in water!
