It is an organic fertilizer safe for any kind of plant, I have the rapeseed Maruta brand that is manufactured in Japan and contains no animal products or bone meal. It is impossible to overfeed, as it is long-lasting. Replace every 50 days in summer and 100 days in winter. Each cake is approximately 1.0" x 1.0" in diameter. Apply 1 or 2 cakes for average size container. This kind will not deteriorate that easy even if it appears moldy. I also bought some fertilzer cups to cover these cakes to prevent birds from eating them. I use this mostly for my mounted ghosts....the potted ones get regular fertilizer....

Thanks Bud, we have exactly the same, from japan, no animal product:-) Will try this for few mounted as well!
