I just got my first Promenaea and I have no idea what to do with it!?
I have a lot of experiences with phals, dendrobiums, paphs, zygos, oncidiums, cymbidiums ...
You can grow Promenaea similar to Zygos which they were once grouped with. Some were also grouped with Maxillaria which many grow in the cooler cloud forest.
Partial shade. They tolerate a large range in temps 40 to 90+ degrees. Water often but flush/leach regularly. They prefer to be uniformly moist with less of a wet - dry cycle. Better if they never dry out completely. Feed a general balanced fertilizer although you can use a higher nitrogen mix during the warmer half of the year. Water less Dec - Feb but still don't let them dry out.

They prefer more shade than most, the leaves will turn silver grey if exposed to excess light.I get good results if they are grown in shallow pots in a mix of 1/3 sphagum 2/3 small bark and kept damp not wet all year round, feed 1/2 strength fertilizer weekly in flowering season.
they are very tolerant little orchids and will take more abuse than any other orchid. Mine are in spike now and I will post pics about xmas time
