Hello. Yes you are talking about de chlor 1 drop per gallon, gets rid of chlorine! I personnaly have been using de chlor for about a year now, and I have not seen any negative results! I know of a way better method, If you use just straight tap water for your orchids w/ de chlor, you are getting rid of the chlorine but you are not getting rid of the heavy metals , and other polluants that come in from the pipes to oyur house! What I would highly reccommend using 1/2 R.O. water and half tap water w/ with de chlor. then you are getting best of both worlds!
Well ta ta for now!

Hello I replied to your water question but I had listed it as a water question. Yes you can use de chlor for the tap water it will get rid of the chlorine. If you also use R.O. water too. You can have best of both worlds. use 1/2 R.O. 1/2 tap water with dechlor. you will notcie alot more growth after a few months of doing so.
Well ta ta for now

Just to let you know. I also have a reef aquarium. The membrane should be good for 2 years. The charcol and floss cartridges should be changed every 6 months. Do not wait for them too turn ugly colors before replacing.
