Default Experience with KLN?

Anyone know how long KLN is effective after it has been mixed for use? Wondering if small batches are preferable to mixing a gallon that may take a while to use up.
Input on recommended concentration and application method (soak stem/whole plant, spray?) also welcome.
I'm hoping to get roots from this Slc. Dreamcatcher before it gives up the ghost. It looks like a long shot, so I'd appreciate hearing your advice if you've had success with KLN and rooting for the underdog!

More pics of this plant are in post starting with Slc. Dreamcatcher.... also in this forum.

You can always mix up a quart and just use 1/4 of the amount needed for a gallon. I know it doesn't remain stable for long at room temp, but am not sure if this would be the same once it is mixed.

KLN doesn't hold well, and should be mixed as used. Search for this info on the OB as I remember Ray posting good information on this very topic.

I use KLN at about 1 tablespoon/gallon every 4 to 6 weeks. Too much or too frequent an application can deter growth (opposite effect!).

First, make sure the bottle of K-L-N is fresh. Dyna-Gro puts manufacturing date stickers on the bottoms of the bottles. Unless it has been kept cool and dark, if it is more than 6 months old, I'd replace it.

I would mix up whatever volume you need to totally immerse the plant, at a rate equivalent to a teaspoon per gallon, and let the plant soak in that for a couple of hours, then repot it and water it in with that solution.

I recommend against using it on other plants, what you don't use, dump.

I keep my KLN in the fridge. I keep my KelpMax there too.

IBA is light sensitive. 12h/day florescent light will break 40% of IBA in 4 days. So both stock and working solution should be protected against light.
