Ghost Orchid back in 2014
 

After a 12 month rest I decided to put the ghost orchid back in bloom. I figured it had enough of a rest and I had a few roots get nice and fat before I would consider it.

I have two flower spikes and best of all 3 new roots at the same time.

Once the flower spikes clear the roots I will post a good picture showing them.

I am hoping to delay the blooming until late September/October to have a fall Ghost Orchid, but with the conditions and temperature etc. I might not have as much control as I would like in this matter.

I started a new thread about the 2014 bloom but here is a pic of the buds, expecting the blooms on 17 October 2014 and 25 October 2014.
