Glad you and your collection weren't hit by the tornado! Hope your family and friends were similarly fortunate too.
I'd personally run the fans and the cooler night and day. (Obviously, the cooler goes off if it gets too cold for your collection!). As they say, the effectiveness of swamp coolers is directly related to the relative humidity of the air; evaporative cooling works very poorly if water can't evaporate! (This is why evaporative coolers are never really seen in the tropics; they don't do anything - you need an air conditioner). In desert areas and others where humidity is low, they work very well.
