Default Five New Seedlings - Looking for Tips

Some may know Oak Hill Gardens as an online dealer, but my parents live close enough to the place that I can sometimes get there to pick them up myself. They have a March deal going on for five seedlings for $20. Needless to say, I grabbed a batch for myself. I have one of each of the following:

Cattleya purpurata
Dendrobium spectabile
Oeceoclades maculata
Doritis pulcherrima v. champornensis
Gomesa crispa

not part of the 5 for $20 deal, but still a young plant, is a Sophrolaeliocattleya Jewel Box 'Dark Waters'.

I'm wondering what kind of advice people have for raising these seedlings up to blooming age. I have a broad and bright west window in one room, and another room with a west and north window (not nearly as bright). I keep my fair share of Phals and I just got my hands on a Vanda Sansai blue and a Phrag. I talked to a few people who work there, and they said that they should do alright in my location, and I'm hoping so. I'd love to be able to grow these guys to flowering size (at least a year for most, the Catt and Dendrobium are possibly 2-3 years from blooming age).

Just looking for some general advice, though specific would be awesome.

Looks like a great group. My orchids usually start as seedlings too. I am guessing that cattleya purpurata was once a Laelia...and I have that one growing in red lava rock/net pot. It is a very vigorous grower. I had trouble a few years ago with black rot so now all my cattleyas are planted on top of the rock (if not mounted) with the roots growing down into the rock. I also am careful to see that they have a steady supply of calcium. Hope this helps.

The Cattleya Purpurata does have Laelia on the tag (syn. Laelia). I'll keep a close eye on my two Catts to see if I can't avoid black rot. I've never done catts (or any of these others) so I'm definitely taking a leap of faith here.

I have had no problems since I made the corrections.
