I'm almost there myself! I'm looking at them and threatening them to do something absolutely spectacular, or they are going to be orphans to make room for something else!

Small and/or temperature tolerant both ways, but especially to the cool side, tho they need to be able to tolerate short periods of heat. Small ones don't need to be able to tolerate as low temps as big ones, but nothing that will sulk at intermediate temps.

Anything that is nearly (or completely) dead. Old backbulbs, canes, pbulbs, and roses. I try not to buy anything because of room. I have enough rescues still waiting to be repotted that I don't need anything else. But if I could buy something it would be catts and laelias. C. aclandia, C. resplendens, C. schilleriana, ect. Or anything BIG blc especially reds.

I think of my current trend as more of a long-term commitment that will continue indefinitely. That is, roughly 90% vandaceous and 10% Encyclias. I prefer miniatures, but I do love all sizes.

I havent bought anything for a long time....but I got 6 aditional specimens my friend asked me to baby sit for her while she is away ...my windowsill is not full and I can still fit a couple of big uns...

I am trending towards simple basic classical forms and species....especially the endangered kind that can be grown well in my environment; just to preserve them and someday donate them to botanical gardens who dont have them in their collection....

Cattleyas and Catasetinae, the majority are species but also some hybrids.
