I would never even attempt it without the Orchidarium. We're only humid June-August

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Lin,

I too like the idea of a "wringing myself out" smiley! Today is one of those very humid days. Last night I could feel it coming on and this morning, even though the outside temps were only a degree or so higher than inside I felt like I walked into a wall when I took my dog outside. The 'chids will love it though!

The weird thing is that yesterday and today are in the mid 90's. Late last week the temp was 44 when we got up. All the orchids outside were fine, but you could see your breath.

Ah, New England weather........gotta love it.

thanks for all advices .Ross is your home Air conditioned?or heated home and what type of heat they get from inside the home.
