Propagation and Species in different Media! - Orchid Board

Ok !! In this thread I wanted to start something new towards which orchids work best in which media!!? Also if you are making homemade media what has all been tested out and can we make a list and people can try them out if you want and fill us in!!

This thread can consist of anything from seed sowing to stem culture!!

Hope ya'll like it let me know!! I will get into some more tomorrow and I hope everyone does too!! Thanks a lot!!

Well 1st I know Encyclia mariae, and oncidiodes can be sown in P723 media and also Epidendrum rigidum, this is a better way to list it!! Adding coconut to all of them can also work i have seen them work both way but just best how i listed them, they all also did well with coconut and BAP!! Hope this will start it off good!

Encyclia mariae - P723
Encyclia oncidiodes- P723 + coconut
Epidendrum rigidum- P723
