I find that between the two E cochleata that I have, there is always something in bloom! Den oligophyllum is another that keeps going and going...and my favorite Phal equestris 'Three Times A Lady' x Blue Too' just almost never stops!
My E cochleata has been in bloom for about 6 months and isnt showing any signs of stopping and also has new growth too. All good fun.

I am glad to hear that Den oligophyllum is a good bloomer, cos I went on a trip with my orchid club 2 weeks ago and bought this little one just on the off chance cos I had never heard of it before. It was $12.00 but is a very immature seedling so I hope it survives. I sometimes lose my tiddlers as I don't have the time to pamper them enough. I did some research and I thought the flower looks rather attractive so I am excited.
Does your have any special treatment? Does it live outside?
A similar thread to this inspired me to buy a Doritinopsis Queen Beer. I purchased it in March with two branched spikes in bloom. They lasted until June only to be replaced by two new spikes. This plant could be one of those ever- bloomers.
My Psychopsis Mendenhall, a sequential bloomer, has been in bloom since Feb. 2007. The spike branched some time ago, and now it has 2 buds. A new flower is open every month.
I have a Memoria Cecilia Rimland Phalaenopsis that flowered for almost 7 months with 2 spikes of flowers.
I also have an Epidendrum pretty princess 'tropical yellow' x joseph lil 'kate' that is currently blooming on 3 spikes and has been for almost 7 months.
I only have 14 orchids so far and still consider myself a beginner but these have helped color the room while the others go in and out of bloom!
I've got a NOID phal that put up two spikes in early November 2010. I was delighted as I knew she would probably be in flower for Xmas...she was. Here I am nearly at the end of July and the same flowers are still there so that makes 8 months with each spike just getting bigger and bigger. In that time she has also had two new leaves.
While writing this to see if she has yet another leaf, (yes she has), I found a new spike coming up alongside the older ones..............these spikes by the way are HUGE, thick and bursting with flowers. I can see this one is going to be a multipronged one like the last two.....
The flowers show no signs of dying as I type and I am stunned at this phals ability to just grow and grow..!!
I've had her for 5 years.
