Anyone ever tried potting up an orchid in rubber mulch?
Seems like it could be a great alternative to bark for orchids that like to dry out quickly and don't like to be repotted often. I'm going to experiment!

That stuff is ground up tires, which are a petroleum product.

They use that around playground equipment, exposing young kids to who-knows-what.

Nope. Not for me.

That’s a hard pass. Ground up tires aren’t something you want in your house. Or your yard. Or on playgrounds, as Ray said.
