Question Does this Peter's Excel look okay?

Hi orchid friends!

I wasn't sure where I should post this but here I go. I received this 1 pound bag of Peter's today. The fertilizer looks like it was exposed to moisture. There's a wet spot in the bag. In the photo you can see where some of the product is stuck to the bag. There's no silica packet included The color appears more green versus grey on the vendor site. The granules felt oily/wet to touch.

For those of you who have used Peter's Excel cal-mag before, does this look normal? I'm reluctant to use this on my orchids because it may have gone bad.

Would you send it back?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Whoever repackaged it did a terrible job of keeping it dry. You cannot use weight for dispensing it, but volume is still fine.

While the fertilizer is still fine for use, if it weighs 1 pound now, you didn't get what you paid for.

The mineral salts in the product attract water more than does silica gel, so that would have done no good.

It's really up to you whether your get your money back or not, but I would ask for a refund.
